ABOUT JULIE
About a decade ago, I found myself in crisis. I was navigating divorce, sending my daughter off to college, and realizing my life lacked passion and purpose. The one thing that kept me grounded was yoga.
A turning point came when I added a weekend in Bali to a work trip. That experience cracked something open inside me. On the long flight home, I knew I needed to deepen my practice — not just to move my body, but to reconnect with my soul.
As I immersed myself in yoga, my life began to transform. I found purpose, clarity, and joy again. I learned how to say yes to what nourishes me, and that has led to a life of expansion and alignment. This is why I do what I do today: to help other women in midlife reconnect with themselves, rediscover their vitality, and create their next chapter.
My Approach
I am a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) with more than 1,500 hours of training and hundreds of hours of teaching experience. My work is rooted in the Viniyoga tradition, a lineage passed from T. Krishnamacharya to his son, T.K.V. Desikachar — pioneers in yoga therapy.
In this tradition, yoga is not “one-size-fits-all.” It is personalized, breath-centered, and holistic — addressing the body, breath, mind, emotions, and spirit. My role is to listen deeply and design practices that support your unique needs and goals, helping you find balance and transformation in midlife and beyond.
